While we aren’t expecting a brand new PSP console at tomorrow’s (27 Jan) Sony announcement in Tokyo, we’re certainly not going to disappoint. From various sources like MCV, VJ247 and Engadget, the PSP2 will be announced with a lot new features.
From the rumors around the web, the new PSP2 has a lot of attractive features, such as large high-definition screen, front-facing camera, running Android OS 2.3, microphone, motion sensing, twin analog buttons, even OLED touchscreens and support of 3G cellular data. As for gamers, they hope the new gadget will bring more exciting gaming experience to them.
Out of the rumors, there are few things confirmed for the gadget:
1. no more UMD
2. no more MemoryStick
3. PSP2 can’t make phone calls
For the design, instead of putting the buttons below the screens like PSP Go and the fans-art PSP2, buttons are better to be put on the sides of the screens for better handling.
Less than 48 hours to go. Stay tuned for more information.
