It has been a week since PlayStation Network (PSN) is down . Sony confirmed today that the following personal information of PSN member has been BREACHED :

  • Name
  • Shipping Address
  • Billing Address
  • Country
  • E-mail address
  • Birth date
  • PSN/Qriocity ID
  • PSN/Qriocity password
  • PSN/Qriocity security questions & answer
  • Purchase history

The public guesses that payment information such as credit card information has also been hacked .

So , what is the solution ?

Top priority : Suspend the credit card associated with PSN / Request a new card with different security code .

Second priority : Monitor your emails and mails . If you find a lot of spam or weird emails sent to you , move your home / change your email address .

Third priority : Register a new PSN account (after the PSN problem solved) , but your game achievements cannot be migrated to new PSN account .

Fourth priority : Play offline / buy a new XBOX360 .
